Each year, as part of the Gippsland Community Leadership Program (GCLP), participants split into small syndicates of 5 to 6 persons with the expectation to deliver a sustainable community project that leaves a legacy after the project is delivered.
Normally the community projects can be undertaken on any worthwhile cause, anywhere in Gippsland. However, this year it has been decided that in consideration of the devastating fires in East Gippsland that GCLP will base all our community projects in the East Gippsland region.
There will be five community projects undertaken. With the release of the application process, we invite all community groups in East Gippsland to submit applications for consideration.
The online application will be open until 5pm on Monday 25th May, we will then invite all applicants to do a 5-minute online pitch on 28th May to the five GCLP syndicate groups for their consideration.
All successful projects will be announced on 15th June and work will commence asap with the expectation of the project being delivered by end of January 2021.
Note – projects with a low “risk” factor will be given priority over those projects that maybe considered “high risk”.
